Selecting a venue to host a course is of great importance. We host courses in centrally located venues in the City of London and the West End. We ensure that the environment supports effective learning that enables our delegates to gain the maximum benefit from attending a course. Mandrean Academy has developed a nine-point requirements list for all training venues to ensure we meet our learners expectations.
All our training venues are selected to be within comfortable walking distance to central London underground stations and bus stops.
Being stuck in a windowless room for the duration of a training course is depressing. Natural light is important and high on our list of requirements.
Temperature is one of the biggest complaints - rooms being either too cold or too hot. Wherever possible we select training venues with adjustable environmental controls.
Comfortable chairs is a must have. Suffering from posterior torture after being seated for a short time is distracting and detracts from the learning experience.
The quality of our presentations is carefully considered. This includes the original slides and the quality of the projection equipment.
Unwanted noise is a big distraction whilst learning, especially when taking exams. Our venues are selected for contributing to a positive learning experience.
Access to refreshments is ensured throughout the training event. There is always a supply of coffee, tea and fresh water on hand.
All delegates are provided with enough space to "spread-out" a little. You are given sufficient desk space for manuals, books plus a little extra breathing room.
Easy access to toilet facilities is also checked. No walking between floors or to the other side of a building when you need to use it.
